PU Voyager

1/2" PU Voyager, the most robust Microflown probe

The PU Voyager is a versatile and easy-to-use probe that helps you evaluate and troubleshoot noise problems in a variety of demanding environments. Its compact and robust design features a sound pressure microphone and particle velocity sensor at the same point, protected by a sturdy housing with an embedded metal mesh. One of the standout features of the PU Voyager is its sensor direction, which is positioned at the tip facing away from the probe. This allows you to easily point the probe at sound sources, even in narrow or hard-to-reach places. Whether you are a professional engineer or a beginner in the field, the PU Voyager is a reliable and efficient tool for evaluating and addressing noise issues.

FIELD CALIBRATION WITH A SOUND CALIBRATOR

Ensuring the accuracy of your measurements is crucial, which is why Microflown has designed the PU Voyager sensor to be compatible with our Class 1 Microflown Sound Calibrator for field calibration. This calibration step, which can be performed before and/or after measurements, helps ensure that your equipment is functioning properly. The PU Voyager's sensor can be validated against a specific level and frequency, such as 94dB at 1kHz, to confirm its performance. With the PU Voyager and our sound calibrator, field calibration of sound intensity probes has never been simpler.
