The new hand held array
Embedded electronics combined with smart designing make it possible to setup a configuration in a snap. Plug and play with only a few component to connect you’ll start with your core work almost instantly. The new platform will have a handle as base to apply all different type of array grids fast and easy. With just three connecting screws a variety of array grids can be fixed to remote handle. There is just one cable to connect all your probes with the MFPA-24B pre-amplifier. In a matter of minutes you a ready-to-go with an array of 12 PU probes optimized for your measurement application.
Build your own array
A complete Microflown array comprises two main building blocks: a starter package and an array grid. All grids are supplied along with a camera mount that provides the best positioning and alignment. There is currently three different grid configurations, naturally more options will be offered in the future.
- Starters pack
- RECT-7.5
- RECT-1.8
- BIHEX
-
The Starters Pack is the first constructing block of the handheld array setup for 12 PU probes. Over this base all the handheld compatible grids can be mounted and easily interchanged to adapt the probes spacing and configuration to each situation. The Hand held starters pack includes:
- Array Remote Handle
- CCD Camera + Lens and USB cable
- Tripod
- PeliCase with inlay -
This grid feels familiar and can be seen as substitute for the hand-held array offered for years with a 75 mm inter-sensor spacing. The grid is compatible with both PU mini and PU match probes. No cables are required since all the probe signals are routed internally towards the 50 Pin connector located at the bottom of the grid.
-
When spatial resolutions matters, this grid is specially suited to achieve unparalleled results. Similar to the traditional array grid but with a smaller spacing of 18 mm. Due this small sensor spacing this grid is only compatible with PU match probes. No cables are required since all the probe signals are routed internally towards the 50 Pin connector located at the bottom of the grid.
-
The BIHEX is a grid optimized for near-field acoustic holography (NAH) measurements. This is the bigger grid of all, with the 12 probes being distributed across an aperture of 250 mm by 250 mm. The grid is compatible with both PU mini and PU match probes. No cables are required since all the probe signals are routed internally towards the 50 Pin connector located at the bottom of the grid.
