Microflown, MEQ Technologies and SAM organize Sound Intensity Day 2026
Microflown, MEQ Technologies and SAM are organizing Sound Intensity Day 2026, a practical one-day workshop dedicated to advanced acoustic testing, sound intensity measurements and particle velocity technology. The event will take place on 16 September 2026 at SAM Darmstadt, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and is designed for engineers working with sound source localization, sound power determination, absorption testing and complex NVH troubleshooting.
Throughout the day, participants will combine technical sessions with hands-on measurement demonstrations. The workshop will show how Microflown’s PU probe technology can be applied in real test environments, giving participants a clearer understanding of where particle velocity adds value in acoustic analysis and product development.
The program includes practical applications such as 3D sound intensity mapping, robotic acoustic scanning, Scan&Paint measurements and in-situ absorption testing. With a focused group of participants, the event also offers room for technical discussion and exchange between industry users, researchers and acoustic measurement specialists.
