Firmware Voyager 2.8
A new firmware package is available in June 2025. In this version, Voyager introduces Coherence, one of the measurement quality parameters, for octave band analysis.
Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions to update your Voyager. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us or your local distributor, and we will guide you through the updating process.
What’s NEW
- Coherence for octave band analysis can be calculated for all Microflown cross channels P-Ux, P-Uy, and P-Uz.
- In-situ Absorption capture type is available in the recording tab. The in-situ absorption captures are compatible to be loaded in Velo 2025
- Recording timer is available for precise timing

- The Signal Generator feature will also be compatible with VELO.
Note(s)
- The file sharing button was not working properly for file transfer using Ethernet port. This is now fixed.
- Small bug fixes.
- Battery indication has been improved.
- Guidelines for the battery:
- Charge the device for at least 3 hours for optimal performance.
- If the device is charged for less than 1 hour, the battery may deplete quickly without a proper percentage indication.
- Do not overcharge: avoid charging for more than 7/8 hours.
- If unusual behavior in the battery indicator is noticed, try turning the device off and on again while the power is unplugged. This can help perform a full reset of the battery indication.
- If problems remain, please reach out to Microflown:
- Fully charge the device for 7/8 hours
- Turn on the device until the battery is completely depleted
- Finally, send the battery database from Voyager/Logs for analysis
