Microflown Technologies Celebrates Former Intern's Achievement at ASILOMAR 2024
Microflown Technologies is thrilled to announce that our former intern, Chenyang Yan, has been honored with the Best Student Paper Award at the prestigious ASILOMAR 2024 signal processing conference. This accolade recognizes his significant contributions to acoustic sensor technology through his paper, "Coded Cover for Acoustic Vector Sensors."

Chenyang's research, developed in collaboration with Delft University of Technology and supported by Microflown Technologies, introduces an innovative approach that enhances acoustic vector sensors. By encasing a single probe in a perforated box, his design effectively transforms it into a uniform linear array, significantly improving sound source localization accuracy. This method has demonstrated superior performance, particularly in environments with low signal-to-noise ratios.
We are proud to have supported Chenyang and Professor Geert Leus in this groundbreaking research. This recognition highlights our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting emerging talents in the field of acoustic testing.
