Firmware Voyager 2.6

A new firmware package, including exciting new features, will be available on the 15th of June 2024. In this version, Voyager introduces touchscreen enhancements, compatibility with Bluetooth, external camera support, and more.

You can just run the downloaded file and follow the instructions to update your Voyager. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us or your local distributor, and we will guide you through the updating process.

What's new

Touch screen sensitivity is enhanced. Its value can be controlled by the Touch Sensitivity level bar in the general settings.
Bluetooth connection is now enabled for all audio devices.
Bluetooth devices can have either input from the integrated Signal Generator or the current listening channel.
External USB camera are now supported. Current supported devices are Logitech B910 with resolutions 1280x720 and 1920x1080 at 10 FPS, Intel D415 and Intel D455f both with 1280x720 resolution at 5 FPS.
Signal generator functionality can reproduce White noise, Pink noise, Sweep, and Sine waves. Output to Audio jack (headphone) or Bluetooth.
The filter enabled/disable toggle state is now saved for each project. Changing it saves its condition in the Settings.ini file.
The internal Microcontroller firmware can now be updated via software, automatically updating to its latest version when the Voyager firmware is flashed. (From version 2.6.0 and further)
The settings that are meant for every project are now saved in GlobalSettings.ini file.

Bug Fixes

In the spectrum tab, if the zoom button was clicked and an area was selected, the total dB value was not updated in the legend. This is now fixed.

Note(s)

Voyager does not have embedded Bluetooth functionality. It needs a Bluetooth dongle to enable this feature. The supported dongle model is EDIMAX - EW-7611ULB.
The latency of the Bluetooth functionality for the default supplied headphones (Sony WH-1000XM4) is higher than 200ms due to HiFi codec limitations. For a lower latency, Microflown recommends the Sennheiser BT450 or another similar device compatible with the aptX™ Low Latency codec.
Automatic microcontroller firmware updates via software can only be performed for Voyagers with an MCU version of 2.0.0 or higher. Devices using previous MCU versions should be updated manually at Microflown Technologies headquarters since it requires physical access to the PCB.
