Sound Intensity software

The sound intensity can be maesured point by point with the PU Microflown intensity probe. This can be connected to the MFDAQ-2 which is compatible with the Sound Intensity software. This solution is very user friendly, the software is divided into five main tabs. Following the tabs you will be guided through the measurement procedure.

Tabs

  1. Measure: once the setting for the calibration curve and acquisition setting are ready justpress the start button to record the data in each position.
  2. Single file: here is possible to visualize different spectra and coherence, also the playback option is available to listen to each record.
  3. 2D configuration: set up your grid in an easy step. The dimension and spacing allows to determine directly the sound power of the sound source. Load the background image of your measurement.
  4. 2D colormap: you can overlay the colormap to the picture to see in a 2D plot the region of interest, you can fit the image and select the frequency band of interes and set dynamic ranges.
  5. 2D report/export: plot quickly a report of you measurements and export the data into an excel or text file.
