Software
Impedance software
The microflown sensor allows to measure the acoustic properties of materials in situ using the in-situ absorption setup. There is no requirement of special environment or a kundt's tube. The impedance software offesr a complete solution for the measurements of in situ of impedance, absorption and reflection. The structure of the software is very user friendly and is based on four main tabs. Following the tabs you will be guided through the measurement procedure.
Tabs
- Measure: you can measure the calibration curve in the free field, and after this reference measurement the absorption in situ by using the in-situ absorption set up.
- Calibration smoothing: apply a smoothing to cancel reflection on the calibration measurement. You can take this measurement in the open air as far as possible from reflective objects.
- Measurement smoothing: you can cancel reflections from the measurement data. If you measure close to reflective walls it is also possible to apply the impulse response method to delete the unwanted reflections from the signal.
- Model analysis: you can load different measurement sessions and apply 3 different models for the calculation of the absorption: plane wave, mirror source and Q-term. You can also export all the data into excel or text file.
