Frontends
MFDAQ-2
The MFDAQ-2 is a 2 channel sound card based frontend. The MFDAQ-2 can read in two analogue channels, usually sound pressure and particle velocity, labeled as P ( pressure ) and U ( velocity ) inputs. This is done to match the MFSC-2, 2 channel signal conditioner. There is also one output channel availabe to amplifiy for example a loudspeaker or a source. The 16bit frontend has 48kHz sample frequency. The MFDAQ-2 can be connected simple to the computer with a standard USB cable and has a calibration button on the back to quickly calibrate the frontend. The MFDAQ-2 is specially designed for the Microflown applications such as Sound Intensity, Scan & Paint and In-situ absorption.
