Calibrators
Standing wave tube calibrator
The standing wave tube can be just to calibrate Microflown probes. The sound field just before the end of the tube is used to calibrate. The method is usable in a 20Hz-3.5kHz bandwidth. The relation of the particle velocity and the reference sound pressure at the end of the tube turns out to be a simple sine function. The phase shift between them equals plus or minus 90 degrees.
