Standing wave tube calibrator
A standing wave tube can be used to calibrate Microflown probes. The sound field just before the end of the tube is used to calibrate. The relation of the particle velocity and the reference sound pressure at the end of the tube turns out to be a simple sine function. The phase shift between them equals plus or minus 90 degrees The usable frequency range of the method, using the microflown standing wave tube, is in a bandwidth 20Hz -3.5kHz.
