Acoustic vector based (low frequency) sound source localization techniques

Quite some R&D effort is spent at NASA Stennis Space Center  in order to understand better than before the noise sources that occur around the rocket plume. 

Microflowns 3 D sound probes can be used to pinpoint the sound sources in a 3 D space.
