Able to detect very low leakrates
With a Microflown a pressurized surface is scanned. With this
method very small leaks can be detected (down to several microns).
Leak rates are competetive to those of Helium systems.
Locates leak position
Due to the scanning technique, the position of the leak is found
directly.
Fast
The response time of the method is in milliseconds.
No tracer gas required
Where other existing methods require Helium or the flamable
hydrogen, the Microflown method uses normal air.
Low overpressure required
Only a few Bar overpressure is required for operation, therefore
no special pumps are resuired.
Easy to integrate
The method is easy to integrate because no special gasses are
required and the method works with a low overpressure. The sensor to
detect the leaks is extremely small.
Possible to use by hand
In some cases welds or closures are manualy made and have to be
chacked. With the Microflown method this can be manualy done.
