Higher sensitivity than regular anemometer

Microflowns are in fact DC flow sensors that have an extremely fast response time and are extremely sensitive. The sensitivity is decades higher than a regular anemometer.

Discriminates pos/negative direction

Because the Microflown works with two closely spaced hot wires, the sensor is truly directional. if the flow direction alters, the sign of the output signal alters.  A hot wire anemometer cannot discriminate between a positive and negative direction.

True directional

Where an anemometer has some directionality, the angular response of the Microflown flowsensor is truly directional. The response follows an exact cosine function of angle.
